The concept for Scary Scraps was inspired by a 1913 children’s book which was generously gifted to artist J. Wecker Frisch during a quilt retreat. Upon first sight of the treasured pages the two likeminded creatives, Janet and Sue Rasberry began sharing ideas. The antique illustrations conjured up for each of them a number of directions for a future fabric collection.
