Nordic Solstice by Gudrun Erla of GE Designs is a premium, limited-run quilting cotton fabric collection manufactured by Andover Fabrics.


The Inspiration & Aesthetic

Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of the designer's Icelandic homeland, the collection captures the quiet magic of long winter nights, glacial horizons, and luminous northern skies. It elegantly merges clean, modern Scandinavian geometric shapes with soft, organic forms.


Color Palette & Composition

  • Color Schemes: The collection weaves together rich Nordic blues, glacial aquas, deep evergreen/tundra moss tones, misty grays, volcanic grays, and soft, snowy white neutrals punctuated by subtle sunlit accents.
  • Collection Size: It features a full 24-piece fabric collection alongside 7 coordinating 108" widebacks (such as Frosted Fjord, Polar Night, and Winter Slate) to simplify quilt backing
