Odif Patch Power (often referred to as a patch powder) is a reinforcement spray adhesive designed to permanently bond and strengthen iron-on patches, badges, appliqués, and ribbons to fabric. It eliminates the need for sewing and prevents patches from peeling or lifting after washing.


How to Use Patch Power

Using the adhesive requires an iron and is a straightforward, 4-step process:

  1. Prepare: Protect your work surface and shake the aerosol can thoroughly until you hear the mixing ball rattling inside.
  2. Apply: Spray the adhesive evenly onto the back of your patch from about 8 inches (20 cm) away. The powder sprays white, making it easy to see.
  3. Position: Place the patch on the desired location on your clothing or fabric.
  4. Fuse: Cover the patch with baking paper or a Teflon sheet to protect your iron. Press firmly with a hot iron (cotton setting, no steam) for at least 45 seconds to melt the powder into a permanent bond.

Pro Tip: For the strongest bond on thick fabrics, heat-seal the reverse side of the fabric as well. Let the fabric cool completely before handling.
